BLOK's Political School for Artists (and all interested) is an educational program that has run continuously since 2016. The program was created as a response to the content deficit in the existing arts education curricula (higher, secondary, or informal), as well as in teaching arts at all levels, and to the lack of the leftist view on history, art history, and aesthetics.
The Political School is intended for everyone who wants to gain an insight into the basic theoretical concepts and history of capitalism, as well as into its socialist alternative, and focuses in particular on the role of arts and culture in them.
